About Josh Foster
With more than two decades of experience in the mortgage industry, Josh Foster has been helping families achieve their homeownership dreams since 2001. As a Loan Officer at GMFS Mortgage, Josh brings a unique perspective to the lending process, specializing in construction loans and guiding clients from the blueprint stage all the way to move-in day.
Having been part of the GMFS team for over seven years, Josh is known for building lasting relationships and offering a hands-on, transparent lending experience. His background in construction allows him to bridge the gap between builders and borrowers — ensuring a smooth, informed process from start to finish.
Josh is an active member of the Home Builders Association (HBA) and a founding executive member of More Than Fore, a local organization benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Community, family, and giving back are at the heart of everything he does.
Originally from Moss Point, Mississippi, Josh now calls the northshore area home. When he’s not helping clients, you can find him fishing, watching volleyball, or embracing his inner pirate at any chance he gets. A lifelong Jimmy Buffett fan, Josh lives by a laid-back yet dedicated philosophy: “Be open, be responsive, and most importantly, be understanding.”
