I was going thru a divorce after 25 years and the pandemic in 2020 and Chantelle managed my loan for my new home purchase. She was *always* available by phone or email. Even late night on a Sunday. She answered all my “dumb questions” in a way I could understand.…

I was going thru a divorce after 25 years and the pandemic in 2020 and Chantelle managed my loan for my new home purchase. She was *always* available by phone or email. Even late night on a Sunday. She answered all my “dumb questions” in a way I could understand. She got me a rate that blew away the other lenders I was speaking to. In 2021, she helped me with refiancing said home after the rates went down further. Again, no other lender could match or beat GMFS rates. One lender (I wont say their name but it rhymes with Sickenloans) said that GMFS was small time and I would regret going with them. I did my home work to find that isnt the case and GMFS has BILLIONS of dollars in loans out there. In 2022, I got engaged and moved into a new house with my fiancee – I didnt even bother with any other lenders this time. Went right to Chantelle and cake walked right through the process (3 times in 2 years). My son also closed on his house recently, also with Chantelle. GMFS and Chantelle know what they are doing. I would give her 6 stars if I could.

Our loan officer was great and I felt like he cared about us and our needs. The process and hoops to jump were very frustrating at times. With a 780 credit score and 50+ years of never missing a payment of any kind I would have thought the process of getting a new mortgage would have been more stream lined. With all the new government regulation I guess proven trust just does not matter anymore. Sad truth
