Positive experience start to finish. We were offered a low rate right from the start where other companies we talked to told us to come back if we were offered lower and they would try to match it. Love that we were able to do everything online and then just sign at closing. Also love that we were able to close locally.

Frannie was extremely helpful in explaining certain items I needed help with, and was also very quick to respond and communicate any needs. I never thought the process to refinance and switch mortgage companies would go so quickly and smoothly as it did, and I am very grateful for that!

Made the process seamless.

We recently refinanced our home to a lower interest rate with GMFS and it was a total breeze! The interest rate we received from them was low. The rep handling our account made the process very simple. All initial paperwork was done electronically- piece of cake!

GMFS has been a crucial source for my family and I in homeownership. One of the best days of our lives has been my wife discovering GMFS. We were homeowners only 5 months before Hurricane Katrina ravaged our home. Since we had insurance, we received no money from Road Home or FEMA. We were renting for 13 years after Hurricane Katrina. My wife contacted GMFS and the rest is history. We are homeowners. They handled our first mortgage and recently handled our refinancing. Miranda gave me better options on the refinance than I initially proposed. She was friendly and professional. Christy was equally helpful and professional in the second phase of the refinancing. They put up with me through the entire process. I had a lot of questions and I checked on updates a lot. They never made me feel like I was bothering them. I felt like family.  The experience was pleasant, easy, and informative on every step and life-changing for us.

Doug and his entire team were absolutely fantastic throughout the entire process. Doug has earned a customer for life. Thank you!!

Mrs. Brandi LeBas and Mr. Justin Doucet were extremely kind, informative, and hard working. Throughout this entire process (which included being delayed by two hurricanes), they stayed in touch and answered any and all questions we had. And we had a lot, as first time buyers! They also were incredibly kind and encouraging. I felt comfortable with both of them. If I had to go through this process again, I would definitely go with Mrs. LeBas and Mr. Doucet every time.

GMFS made my first time home buying experience easy and effortless! They kept me updated on the processes and walked me through step by step! The online app helped me get things done without even having to go to their office. I have a very demanding work schedule so that helped tremendously. They worked as a team and for that I am very grateful! Will definitely use them again for any future purchases . I highly recommend them as well
