About Shannon

Shannon Rasbury is a Loan Officer with GMFS Mortgage, proudly serving Baton Rouge and surrounding Louisiana communities since January 2020. She specializes in Conventional, FHA, VA, Rural Development, and One-Time Close Construction loans, helping homebuyers feel confident and informed from application to closing.
As an LSU communications graduate, explaining complex loan details in a clear, approachable way is especially important to her. Every client has her direct cell number and knows they can call or text anytime throughout the process. While at LSU, Shannon was one of four bat girls selected to travel with the baseball team to Omaha for the 1997 National Championship, an unforgettable experience. She still loves cheering on LSU and regularly attends sporting events whenever she can.
Shannon is actively involved in the Baton Rouge community, serving on the board of the Sales and Marketing Executives of Baton Rouge, volunteering with Healing Place Church, and supporting the Youth Legislature of Louisiana, a nonprofit that empowers middle school students through hands-on civic education.
Outside of work, Shannon enjoys spending time with family, going to the movies, attending concerts, practicing hot yoga, volunteering, and being in Tiger Stadium and the PMAC whenever possible. Her professional philosophy is simple: don’t be afraid to take the shot, and never give up. Every loan is a puzzle, and Shannon is committed to finding the right solution for every client.
