It’s been 12 days since we closed on our new (to us) home and 45 years since my last mortgage experience, both by VA loan guarantee. The process seemed much more rigorous than I remember, and our financial security now is many times more stable. Needless to say, I had many questions but they were answered and explained, and I am grateful for that. Jackie Dykes and Aaron Oberste were our primary contacts and they were friendly, knowledgeable, and competent in guiding us through the entire process. Jackie always ended her messages to us with “Thank you for your patience.” I want to thank her also for hers, several times over. The process went smooth and I was updated every step of the way. I had a delay in my VA funding approval letter and after that was taken care of things went super fast, Neil was able to get me a great rate and lower fees than other VA lenders. Its also nice to have some one local to address any problems that may arise. The whole team at GMFS Mortgage was great. If I buy another home I will use them.

This was our 4th house closing and although we had a few hurdles with me being able to take advantage of additional state and parish incentives that are not very common as a 100% disabled veteran. Brent was a fantastic resource for use and guided through our home purchase very smoothly. I would highly recommend him to others!
