Second time I’ve taken a mortgage with GMFS and it was awesome, again. Everyone is so nice and helpful and things went very, very smoothly. Particularly thankful that Susan at the Macon, Georgia office was my loan officer. I would highly recommend GMFS to anyone applying for a mortgage or a refi.
Bryan was excellent at communicating and keeping me up to date on the file throughout the entire transaction.
Darren did a great job. He was very knowledgeable and responsive througho the process. Toward the end of the process we did get some odd request from loan approvers (not Darren) which is why I rated the overall experience as ok and not great (i.e. requirement to make cosmetic vinyl siding repairs prior to closing).
Brandon and Laura were very communicative on every step. Additionally, Brandon assisted to get a better rate even during the application process. Great service?

Since retiring I wondered if I would be able to refinance and take advantage of historically low rates. GMFS walked me through the process and we closed, reducing our rate by 25%. Communication was good throughout the process. Everything, except signing papers at the attorney’s office was done online.

Miranda Gref was also extremely helpful in ensuring we had all of our I’m dotted and it’s crossed at the end. Our closing took 35 minutes because of the work that Michelle, Miranda and the entire GMFS team did to make sure that everything was in order! I can’t say enough!
