About Liz Castro
Liz Castro is a Mortgage Loan Officer with GMFS Mortgage who is passionate about helping clients make informed decisions on their path to homeownership. She believes that education is the foundation of successful homeownership and strives to provide every borrower with the knowledge, practical guidance, and confidence needed to achieve their goals and build long-term financial stability.
Originally from Puerto Rico, Liz moved to the United States at the age of seven and is fully bilingual in English and Spanish. Known for her patience, willingness to listen, and commitment to teaching, she takes pride in helping clients understand their options and feel confident throughout the mortgage process.
Before joining GMFS in 2026, Liz built a successful career in the life insurance industry, earning recognition as a Top Producer multiple times. She also proudly served nine years in the United States Air Force, where she developed the discipline, dedication, and service-oriented mindset she brings to every client relationship.
Outside of work, Liz enjoys spending time with her husband and their two sons. She is actively involved in her church’s worship and marriage ministries, and her family loves fishing, exploring the outdoors, and spending time together in nature.
